Cork Transfers: Airport, Harbour and Venue Runs
Cork is compact for a group programme. The airport lies 8 km or so south of the centre, and hotels, stadiums and the harbour sit within half an hour of each other, so the work is in sequencing pickups, not covering distance.
The airport kerb
Cork Airport has a single terminal, and every bus and coach service uses the front of it. Private coach and minibus operators are asked to drop off and collect at Bus Bay C or D, which gives your group one fixed meeting point whatever the flight.
A transfer to a city-centre hotel on St Patrick's Street or near the railway station takes around 20 minutes and can stretch towards half an hour at busy times. For an early departure the next morning, a hotel in the airport area, Douglas or Blackrock and Mahon trims that leg further.

Cruise ports
Ship calls and harbour programmes
Cobh's cruise berth lies roughly 24 km east; budget 25 to 30 minutes on the road. Some ships berth instead at Ringaskiddy Deepwater Quay, on the far side of the harbour, so confirm the berth before transfer times are fixed. Spike Island is reached by ferry from Cobh, and Fota Wildlife Park or the distillery at Midleton, about 25 minutes from the city, can share the day.
Events in the city
SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Ballintemple doubles as a conference venue with about 1,500 sq m of event space, as well as hosting Cork GAA and concerts. Munster play their Cork fixtures at Virgin Media Park (Musgrave Park). On a match or concert night, send the finish time and let the operator pick the collection point away from the crowd.
Longer connections
Coming by road from Dublin, the route crosses two toll points: the M7/M8 Portlaoise to Cullahill section and the Rathcormac to Fermoy bypass. Onward legs: Killarney, around 1.5 hours; the Rock of Cashel, around 1.25. When flights into Cork do not suit, Kerry and Shannon airports are the usual alternatives.
Questions
Where exactly does the vehicle meet us at Cork Airport?
Bus Bays C and D, directly in front of the terminal building. Share flight numbers so the pickup moves with any delay.
Can one vehicle cover a Cobh cruise shuttle and an airport run on the same day?
Often, since Cobh and the airport are each about half an hour from the city. Send both timings together and the quote will show whether one vehicle works or whether two are needed.
What do you need from us to price a Cork programme?
Passenger numbers, luggage, arrival and departure flights, hotel, each venue with times, and any ship name and berth. We arrange the movements with licensed, insured operators and return one quote for the whole schedule.
