Bray Group Transfers: Dublin Airport, City and Wicklow

Bray is about 40 km from Dublin Airport via the M50/M11, 40-50 minutes by road, and about 40 minutes from Dublin city centre. For conferences and events in the capital it works as a coastal base, with short connections south into Wicklow.

Airport run and the M50 toll

The western M50 route to the airport crosses a barrier-free tolling point on the M50, between Junctions 6 and 7. Buses and coaches pay it, there is no cash booth, and unregistered users must pay by 20:00 the next day. Ask for the quote to state whether it is included.

Arrivals board at Zone 16. Coaches dropping off use the Terminal 2 Departures Road Inner but may not park in set-down areas, and engines must be off when parked, so time the hotel pickup for a direct run rather than a wait at the kerb.

Into Dublin for events

Dublin city centre is about 20 km and about 40 minutes away. For a conference, dinner or match, send the venue address, start time and expected finish; the operator confirms set-down and staging. On big match days, coaches may not drop off or pick up on the main roads around Croke Park, so agree a walking distance with the group in advance.

Hotel and pickup areas

  • Enniskerry / Powerscourt
  • Seafront / town centre
  • Greystones

Short hops into Wicklow

Powerscourt Estate and Greystones are each about 15 minutes away, Glendalough about 45 and Avoca about 50. Killruddery House sits on the southern edge of Bray. Groups walking the Cliff Walk, about 7 km, can be collected at the Greystones end instead of returning on foot.

Hotel areas and local fixtures

Hotels are on the seafront and in the town centre, around Enniskerry and Powerscourt, and in Greystones. Collections across more than one of these need every address up front. The Carlisle Grounds, home of Bray Wanderers, is a short local leg for a visiting squad.

Questions

Does the airport run from Bray pass a toll?

On the western M50 route, yes. The tolling point sits between Junctions 6 and 7 and there is no cash booth. Check whether the quote includes it.

Can we be collected in Greystones after the Cliff Walk?

Yes. Give an estimated finish time and the operator confirms a pickup point at the Greystones end.

How long should we allow to reach a Dublin city venue?

About 40 minutes for the roughly 20 km, plus a margin at busy times. Send the venue and start time so the pickup is set to match.
