Executive Saloon and Driver for VIP Arrivals

The executive car handles the movements a group vehicle should not wait for: the keynote speaker on a different flight, the chief executive leaving before the dinner, the couple on a wedding day.

Car and boot

This is an E-Class saloon or equivalent, chauffeur-driven, for one to three passengers. Luggage space is about 540 litres in a non-hybrid E-Class. That figure does not cover hybrid versions, so ask which is coming if the cases are large. For three passengers with large cases, a people carrier may be the better choice.

Licensing for hire

In Ireland a chauffeured car for hire is a small public service vehicle, and it needs an NTA hackney or limousine licence. Bookings are made in advance and the fare is agreed up front. The quote should show which licence applies.

Meet-and-greet and timing

The driver meets passengers at airport arrivals. Send the flight number, the name on the board and a mobile number for the traveller, so the driver works to the real touchdown, not the timetable.

For events, list each VIP movement separately on the movement sheet: arrival, venue, dinner and departure. Pairing an executive car with the delegate coaches means one late flight does not hold up fifty people. Where the drive runs from Dublin Airport to the city, plan on 20 to 45 minutes, longer at peak.

Questions

How many passengers does the car take?

One to three, depending on luggage. For four to seven people, or more bags, move up to a people carrier; larger groups need a minibus.

What boot space is there?

Roughly 540 litres for the non-hybrid E-Class. Send the number of cases when requesting a quote.

Can the car wait during a meeting?

If the waiting time is booked. Mark each wait on the movement sheet so the quote covers it and the driver's day stays within the hours allowed.

Where does the driver meet arriving passengers?

At airport arrivals, as a meet-and-greet. Share the flight number so timing tracks the real landing.
