Croke Park final days: group transfer planning
No 2027 final dates have been fixed yet. Expect July, with the hurling final ahead of the football, because a GAA Congress motion to push football into August was pulled in February 2026. We book coaches and minibuses with licensed, insured operators for supporters' groups and hospitality guests.
No drop-off at the stadium
In 2026 the Garda traffic plan gave coaches nowhere near Croke Park to set down, collect or park, and loading on the main roads around the ground was ruled out. Expect the same pattern for 2027 until Garda traffic plans say otherwise, and brief the group that the last stretch is on foot.
Docklands as the base
Coaches were sent to the NTA's Docklands coach park in 2026, reached from North Wall Quay. Plan the day around it: set down near the Docklands, walk to the ground, and meet back at the coach at an agreed time after the final whistle.
Planning notes
- For the 2026 finals, Gardaí provided no coach set-down, collection or parking area near Croke Park.
- A motion to move the football final to August from 2027 was withdrawn at GAA Congress in February 2026, so the finals stay in July.
- Coaches were not allowed to drop off or pick up on any of the main roads around the stadium; coach parking was at the NTA Coach Park, Dublin Docklands.
Supporters flying in
Supporters' clubs from abroad and hospitality guests may fly into Dublin Airport for final weekend. Coaches collect at Zone 16, and the airport is 20 to 45 minutes from the city. On the day after the final, set the return run from the earliest flight and give the group an early start.
Holding dates before your county qualifies
County clubs often need transport before they know they are in the final. Tell us the dates you are holding and the headcount; the quote can be adjusted when the semi-finals settle it.
Questions
When are the 2027 All-Ireland finals?
No date is out yet. July is the expected month, hurling before football.
Can our coach set down at Croke Park?
Not if 2026 is a guide: Gardaí allowed no coach loading close to the ground or on its main approach roads.
Where does the coach go during the match?
In 2026 it was the NTA layover park in the Docklands. For 2027, the operator confirms where once Garda traffic plans are issued.
How long is a county bus day to Croke Park?
It depends on the county, but long days bring EU driver rules into play, including compulsory breaks and a daily cap on driving. Give the departure and home times and the operator plans breaks or a second driver.
